I Want This
These posters are amazing, and I will be buying one soon. The typography is so simple. I LOVE it.

An Old Friend
This is my dog Charlie. He passed away in July, and since then I have been working on turning him into a cartoon. With his personality and many signature looks, I didn't have to do much work to turn Charlie into a character. He had an iron stomach and a large place in my heart. What a dog.
Anecdote #1:
When Charlie wasn't sleeping, he was either eating or hanging out in the kitchen waiting to eat. He would always sit under the table while I would eat my lunch, aggressively eyeing whatever my meal happened to be.
On this particular day I was eating a turkey sandwich. My chubby little friend sat at my side, drooling shamelessly and sliding around on his butt as he couldn't ever find good traction on the smooth tile in the kitchen. After a few bites, Charlie suddenly became uninterested, bolted to the front door and began pawing at it, wanting to go outside. I assumed my dad was pulling into the driveway or he had heard another dog barking, so I got up and went to open the door for him.
Charlie was by no means a fast dog. In fact, he was downright ungainly. Any movement he made could be described as a sort of waddle. But as soon as I left my seat, he ran (waddled quickly) to the table, and using my chair to climb, grabbed the remainder of my sandwich and swallowed it in one bite.
Anecdote #2:
During the Christmas season, my mom would always hang two Santa Claus wall sconces up in the dining room at about shoulder height, which my dad would inevitably send flying off the wall every time he walked through. One Christmas several years ago, they were hanging as always. My mom had placed two unscented, white candlesticks inside the sconces.
It was not long before the two Santa sconces were brushed by and the candles were on the floor. It was also not long before Charlie ran (waddled quickly) over and gobbled up one of the candles. The whole thing. A wax candle. An entire unscented wax candle.
Anyway, here are the beginnings of Charlie's second life as a cartoon:
